WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO RENT / DRIVE A BOAT?
You must be 18 yrs. of age or older in order to rent or operate any of our vessels. Anyone born after September 1st, 1993 must have a Texas Boater Education Certificate issued by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department from www.boat-ed.com. If you were born before September 1st, 1993 you do NOT need a Boater’s Safety Certificate. However, all drivers need a valid Driver’s License. Please have a physical copy to present to the dock manager at the time of your booking. Please note, this course can take at least 2 to 3 hours to complete. We recommend completing it at least 3 hours prior to the time of your reservation.
PLEASE NOTE
- All boats are equipped with life preservers, throw-able cushion, anchor & rope, fire extinguisher & our emergency phone number.
- No switching off at the dock and no beaching, must stay 100’ from the shoreline
- Must bring Driver’s Licence and card you made your reservation with.
